Which visitors should you remember?

The station sends buyers, suppliers and people with longer agendas to the same counter. Treat a new name as a reason to read the conversation rather than another offer to dismiss. The official launch post highlights completed stories for Lou, Eleanor, Officer Lun and cadet Serpico.

Visitor Role to remember
The landlord Rent and the goal of buying the shop
Joe Wild Network connections and services
Dr. Jackson Equipment and machine supplies
Lou A criminal mastermind with a launch storyline
Eleanor A personal storyline expanded in 1.0
Officer Lun Security story and reporting context
Cadet Serpico Security-related launch storyline
The Butcher A wanted character with expanded backstory
Georgio More appearances in the full release

What changed for Lou after launch?

The first hotfix makes reporting Lou to Security stop lowering Black Market reputation. The second prevents shooting her during any visit. These are two different changes across 1.0.0.1 and 1.0.0.2.

Follow the current dialogue options instead of trying to reproduce an older interaction. A story decision can affect the rest of the run, so the value of an item on the counter may be the least important part of the visit.

When is Dr. Jackson important?

Dr. Jackson is useful when building a production business. The official water hotfix lowers his stock markup on Normal from 25% to 15%, which matters when budgeting equipment. The earlier official update also fixes stock disappearing when leaving his store too quickly and duplicate unique-item offers involving the Back Counter.

Use the items table to compare equipment functions before shopping. Keep enough cash for the container, inputs and power your chosen line needs, not only the machine itself.

How can you follow the story without spoiling it?

Read each recurring visitor’s dialogue and keep track of what they ask for. The full-release announcement recommends a fresh run for returning demo players so the added storylines are not missed.

The factions guide explains the broader political setting. The endings guide keeps explicit outcomes inside collapsed panels; open it only when you want the consequences spelled out.
